To All Smokers!!

Alright whats up guys, alright so I just wanted to rant about the legal system and the reason why I was trying to find a way to make a little extra money online a little today. I understand that if marijuana was legalized it would put many industries out of business and that a ton of jobs would be lost...but is that any reason to punish someone to piss tests once a month for a first offense. How do they have the authority to take away our freedoms because of something WE chose to do??? I know this may seem a little childish because I am complaining about the legal system but I have been on this PTI(pre trial intervention) thing for 3 months now and I'm just agitated by the fact that I can't smoke without thinking about that next drug test anymore.

Do they really believe that by charging you with a misdemeanor and slapping you with a bunch of fines that you are going to quit smoking...hell no. That would be like saying by charging $2 more for cigarettes that people are going to quit...ohh wait that didn't work...They know perfectly well that anyone who gets charged with possession is just going to go straight back to smoking as soon as they are done with all the shit they have to do. In my opinion they shouldn't neccessarily legalize weed...but either make it a bigger penalty (to actually get people to quit) or not punish the crime at all. Because eventually people are going to realize that weed isn't illegal because of its dangers but because of its profit they make off of offenders. Well just wanted to get my point out on that.
